Find your Android phone from your Apple Watch
Open KeepMyWatch on the watch and tap the gold Find my phone button. Your Android phone plays a melody at full volume, even on silent, and stops by itself after 15 seconds or when you tap Stop.
How to ring the phone
- On the watch, open KeepMyWatch.
- Tap the gold Find my phone button.
- Follow the sound. Tap Stop on the watch when you find it, or let it stop after 15 seconds.
Find my phone can also sit on a watch face as a complication, or run from Siri, Shortcuts and the Action button, and on watchOS 26 from Control Center.
Tried on Samsung Galaxy S26 and S24 phones: the melody played at full volume with the phone on silent.
What it needs
- Both the watch and the phone online. The request reaches the phone over the internet, not Bluetooth.
- The phone switched on. A phone that is off or out of battery can’t ring.
If the phone is farther away
When the phone isn’t within earshot, or isn’t online, use Google’s Find Hub from a computer or another phone. It shows the phone on a map when it can, and can lock or erase it (Google’s help page).
And the other way round
Lost the watch instead? In the phone app, Find my watch makes the watch buzz six times, five seconds apart. It vibrates without sound, because Apple doesn’t let apps play their own sound on a silent watch.
